Conscious Listening – Conditioning Energy
Master Active Listening for Exceptional Communication Skills
In this episode, I take you into the essential skill of conscious, active listening, an often-overlooked yet powerful tool for improving communication, strengthening relationships, and resolving conflicts effectively. Conscious, active listening goes beyond just hearing words—it requires focus, understanding, and thoughtful engagement with the speaker.
What is Conscious Active Listening?
Conscious Active listening is a highly engaged form of listening that involves fully comprehending and responding to the speaker, rather than just passively hearing their words. It is a crucial soft skill that enhances communication, fosters deeper connections, and aids in conflict resolution.
Conscious listening is also a critical element of the Certain Way, so it is very important for you to to understand how this contributes to energy conditioning and the establishment of a desirable culture.
Here are some key elements I discuss in this episode:
Focus: Minimize distractions and give your full attention to the speaker.
Understanding: Go beyond the words to grasp the speaker’s intent and meaning.
Reflection: Think about the message and its relevance to the conversation.
Response: Provide thoughtful feedback that shows comprehension.
Retention: Remember key points for future reference.
I take a deeper dive into all of this plus I also take a look at non-verbal elements to help you improve your overall communication skills which will lead you to more meaningful and productive conversations and provide countless other benefits.
Mastering active listening transforms the way we communicate, making our interactions more impactful and meaningful. Tune in to this episode to learn practical strategies for becoming a more attentive and empathetic fully conscious listener!

Active Listening – Effective Communication
Are you a ‘Ball Stealer?’ What does that even mean?
With permission, in this episode, I share piece from the folks at Admired Leadership and their Field Notes blog. The piece asks the question, “Are you a despicable listener who steals the ball?” You’ll have to listen to this episode to take a deeper dive into what all this means when it comes to effective communication.
When it comes to personal, professional and leadership development, communication is key. Too many define communication as simply our ability to articulate our thoughts and share them with others without considering listening as a part of the equation.
Listen to this episode and let me know if you see yourself in anything I share.
