Release What No Longer Belongs to You
Many people are trying to change their lives by adding something new — new habits, new goals, new strategies — yet still feel stuck in familiar patterns. In this powerful episode of The Genesis Frequency, Rev. Dr. Stephen J. Kosmyna explores a different path to transformation: not accumulation, but release.
What if growth begins by letting go of outdated inner narratives rather than striving harder? What if the greatest barrier to progress isn’t external circumstances, but the unconscious stories we continue to carry from our past?
In this episode, Stephen invites listeners into a practical and deeply reflective conversation about identity, awareness, and personal freedom. Drawing from timeless spiritual principles and modern personal development insight, he explains how old emotional patterns, limiting beliefs, and inherited self-images quietly shape our decisions, leadership style, and relationships — often without our awareness.
You’ll discover how to recognize patterns that no longer serve you, separate past experiences from present identity, and consciously choose a new internal posture moving forward. This episode is especially meaningful for leaders, seekers, and anyone ready to move beyond survival patterns into intentional living.
Transformation doesn’t always require becoming someone new. Sometimes it begins by releasing what was never truly you.
Listen in — and ask yourself: What am I ready to release so something greater can live through me now?

Free Up Mental Bandwidth – The Process
In last week’s episode, I invited you to do a little exercise with me to determine what is taking up valuable ‘mental space’ in your own consciousness. I refer to this space as bandwidth. This is about determining how much is ‘on your plate’ so to speak that is not supportive of the objectives you hope to realize as soon as possible.
I talked about how you need to let go by noticing an inner tension as I read through a list of some common things that use up a lot of bandwidth and mental capacity. In today’s episode I run through this list again AND I share the process for letting go.
It’s one thing to identify what you need to let go of but there is a certain process you must learn to put in place in order to be successful in letting go. In this episode I cover that process so that you can move in goal supportive elements that will assist you in making quantum leaps in the direction of the life you would love to live.
