Changing the Paradigm — Part Two / From Repetition to a New Way of Thinking
Knowing that an old paradigm is influencing your life is one thing. Changing it is another.
In Part Two of this three-part series on The Genesis Frequency, Dr. Stephen J. Kosmyna picks up where we left off by exploring why simply repeating positive words isn’t enough to create meaningful change.
Drawing from the teachings of Bob Proctor and Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, we look at the difference between merely parroting an affirmation and becoming genuinely involved with a new idea. If we spend a few minutes saying what we want to believe, but then spend the rest of the day thinking, feeling, imagining, and behaving from the old belief, which idea are we really reinforcing?
Changing the paradigm requires more than words. It involves repetition, emotional involvement, imagination, deliberate thought, and ultimately behavior that begins to agree with the person we are choosing to become.
This episode explores how to identify a limiting belief, create a stronger replacement, mentally rehearse the new possibility, and begin giving yourself something more powerful than positive words: new evidence through action.
The old paradigm wasn’t established overnight, and we shouldn’t expect a lifetime of habitual thinking to disappear after repeating an affirmation a few times. Transformation is a process of conditioning—a new thought, a new image, a new decision, and a new behavior practiced consistently.
And we’re not finished.
In Part Three, we’ll bring the entire series together and go deeper into how we deliberately install, strengthen, and live from the new paradigm until our thinking, self-image, behavior, and results begin aligning with the life we truly want to create.
For now, consider this:
What would you do differently today if you were already thinking and acting from the person you are becoming?

Changing the Paradigm — Part One
Stop Reinforcing What You Want to Escape
Why do we sometimes know exactly what we want to change, yet continue repeating the same behaviors and producing the same results?
In Part One of this new three-part series on The Genesis Frequency, Dr. Stephen J. Kosmyna explores the hidden beliefs and habitual patterns—what Bob Proctor called paradigms—that can quietly influence our behavior, decisions, and results.
Drawing from Bob Proctor’s teachings and Napoleon Hill’s discussion of autosuggestion in Think and Grow Rich, we look beneath the behavior to discover the belief that may be driving it. Sometimes the problem isn’t a lack of motivation, discipline, or knowledge. We may simply be trying to create a new life while continuing to rehearse the beliefs that helped create the old one.
What are you repeatedly telling yourself about money, success, your health, your age, your abilities, your confidence, or what is possible for you? And have you repeated some of those ideas so often that they now feel like facts?
In this episode, we explore how our internal dialogue can continually reinforce an old paradigm—especially when those thoughts are repeated with emotion. Most importantly, we begin identifying the stories and beliefs we may need to stop feeding if we want different results.
Your past may explain some things, but it does not have to command your future.
And this is only the beginning.
In Part Two, we’ll pick up with a critical distinction: affirmation isn’t parroting. Simply repeating positive words while emotionally rehearsing the opposite is unlikely to create meaningful change. We’ll explore how repetition, emotion, visualization, and deliberate new thinking can begin helping us replace the old programming.
Then in Part Three, we’ll take the next step—strengthening the new paradigm through behavior, action, self-image, and the creation of new evidence about who we are becoming.
For now, begin with one question:
What belief might you be continually reinforcing that belongs to the life you’re trying to leave behind?

Spring Consciousness Cleaning – Pulling Weeds
Spring Consciousness Cleaning – Pulling Weeds and Planting Flowers
As the season shifts and nature awakens, it’s the perfect time to do some spring cleaning—not just in our homes, but in our minds. In this episode, we explore the idea of mental and emotional renewal using the garden as a metaphor. Just as weeds can overtake a garden and choke out healthy plants, limiting beliefs, negative thought patterns, and outdated mental programming can prevent us from growing into our fullest potential.
Together, we’ll identify the “weeds” in our consciousness—the self-doubt, fear, and disempowering narratives that no longer serve us. More importantly, we’ll talk about how to consciously plant “flowers” in their place—new habits of thought, speech, and action that nurture transformation and align with our goals. By intentionally cultivating a mindset that supports success, joy, and abundance, we create fertile ground for personal growth and fulfillment.
Tune in to learn practical strategies for identifying and uprooting mental patterns that hold you back, while sowing the seeds of positivity and empowerment. It’s time for a mental refresh—out with the old, in with the new!
