Persistence – Neville

In this chapter, Neville takes us into Scripture again to illustrate, through stories, how our wish must ultimately come to pass through simply persisting in maintaining the consciousness and the feeling of the desired state, all we wish to be, do and have, already fulfilled.

Neville writes, “Ask, seek and knock mean assuming the consciousness of already having what you desire.” He continues; “Here, to pray means to give thanks for already having what you desire. Only persistency in the assumption of the wish fulfilled can cause those subtle changes in your mind which result in the desired change in your life; all must respond in harmony with your persistent assumption.”

He closes this chapter with these words: “Your assumption, to be effective, cannot be a single isolated act; it must be a maintained attitude of the wish fulfilled. And that maintained attitude that gets you there, so that you think from your wish fulfilled instead of thinking about your wish, is aided by assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled frequently. It is the frequency, not the length of time, that makes it natural. That to which you constantly return constitutes your truest self. Frequent occupancy of the feeling of the wish fulfilled is the secret of success.”

I’d like to ask, what would you be doing if you do not persist in maintaining the feeling tone of your wish fulfilled, if you give up? Would you then shift your dominant thoughts to things you don’t want? That is what most people do, and guess what? They persist in those thoughts, they add feelings of despair, doubt, worry and fear and think from that negative state frequently. Then, that is exactly what’s starts showing up in their life.

It works both ways so stay with what you DO want! Persist! You’re worth it! Your dream must be fulfilled through you. Grab a copy of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill as well and read, everyday, for at least thirty days, Hill’s chapter on persistence!

I Am Consciousness – Neville – The Power of Awareness

Yes, I crammed a lot into that title and there’s even more in this episode! I Am taking a deeper dive into enlightenment starting with this show. A dive into WHAT we are. An awakening into conscious awareness of First Cause; Source energy. The power we have in ‘I Am’ and what that means when it comes to manifesting all we would love to be, do and have in our world of form.

It’s time we all begin to wake up to WHAT we are and into the realization that we are creators. What we see in the outer world is a manifestation and an indication of where we are in consciousness and what we’re holding in consciousness, whether we’re aware of it or not.

It’s time to become aware, awake and enlightened. The time to make the move to ‘I AM’ is now.

I often quote George Bernard Shaw who once said:

“Two percent of the people think; three percent of the people think they think; and ninety-five percent of the people would rather die than think.”

Two percent is being generous.

It’s time to let ‘Mind’ do our thinking and give the intellect, which relies way too much on sensory input, a rest. This is how we move from bondage to liberty, getting to know and accepting as our Real Self, the great I Am.

Mood: Cause or Effect?

“This is an age in which the mood decides the fortunes of people rather than the fortune decide the mood.” – Winston Churchill

“People regard their moods far too much as effects and not sufficiently as causes. Moods are imaginal activities without which no creation is possible. We say that we are happy because we have achieved our goal; we do not realize that the process works equally well in the reverse direction – that we shall achieve our goal because we have assumed the happy feeling of the wish fulfilled.” – Neville Goddard

Most of us don’t realize that moods work both ways. In today’s episode you’ll find an invitation to again become the observer and see how we often give away our power to what’s going on on the outside. This robs us of the mood we would really prefer to be in, the one which is positive and creative. Rather than allowing our moods to be directed by the ebb and flow of life and outer conditions, circumstances and events; we’ll learn today how to consciously and intentionally choose our mood for the day thereby moving the mood to the “cause” side of the equation.

The Unforgivable Sin

One thing I don’t talk about enough is about satisfaction being the death of desire. We should never be satisfied. We should always be hungry. We have to remember that desire is the Infinite tapping at the door of our consciousness calling us to be, do and have all that has been planted in our heart as our purpose.

So often I talk to people who are self-satisfied. They say they’re happy with how things are in their life. Most of the time they’re lying. Worse than that, they’re lying to themselves. They have settled for less, far less than their potential. Even worse, they have abandon their purpose and passion. This develops into the only unforgivable sin.

Don’t let this be you. It’s time to wake up to your ultimate joy and you’ll find that in the pursuit of your biggest dream.

Inner Dialogue Creates Outer Circumstance

All that inner dialogue that goes on ceaselessly throughout your day needs to match what you want to experience. We can take time for reflection, meditation, study and repeating affirmative statements, but if we don’t monitor the inner chatter so that it remains in harmony with our goals and dreams, we will most likely not experience that which we wish to manifest in the outer world of form.

In today’s episode I explore these words written by Neville Goddard found in Awakened Imagination:

“Inner talking reveals the activities of imagination, activities which are the causes of the circumstances of life. As a rule, man is totally unaware of his inner talking and therefore sees himself not as the cause but the victim of circumstance. To consciously create circumstance, man must consciously direct his inner speech, matching “the still small voice” to his fulfilled desires.”

Exciting stuff. Don’t make living your dream difficult. It all starts inside.
