Everyone gets trapped in this delusion at some point in their life and unfortunately most remain shackled to this delusion for their entire lifetime. He’s really talking about not taking responsibility for one’s own results. We often play the victim of circumstances, the blame game and point to something outside of us as being responsible for our condition of living with less than all we feel called to be, do and have in our lifetime.

In this episode we learn what is ours to do to make the necessary shift and begin our transformation into our ideal life. To change our situation and conditions we must change our mind or as Neville says:

“…a change of circumstance happens as a result of a change in your state of consciousness.”

I Am Consciousness – Neville – The Power of Awareness

Yes, I crammed a lot into that title and there’s even more in this episode! I Am taking a deeper dive into enlightenment starting with this show. A dive into WHAT we are. An awakening into conscious awareness of First Cause; Source energy. The power we have in ‘I Am’ and what that means when it comes to manifesting all we would love to be, do and have in our world of form.

It’s time we all begin to wake up to WHAT we are and into the realization that we are creators. What we see in the outer world is a manifestation and an indication of where we are in consciousness and what we’re holding in consciousness, whether we’re aware of it or not.

It’s time to become aware, awake and enlightened. The time to make the move to ‘I AM’ is now.

I often quote George Bernard Shaw who once said:

“Two percent of the people think; three percent of the people think they think; and ninety-five percent of the people would rather die than think.”

Two percent is being generous.

It’s time to let ‘Mind’ do our thinking and give the intellect, which relies way too much on sensory input, a rest. This is how we move from bondage to liberty, getting to know and accepting as our Real Self, the great I Am.

Mood: Cause or Effect?

“People regard their moods far too much as effects and not sufficiently as causes. Moods are imaginal activities without which no creation is possible. We say that we are happy because we have achieved our goal; we do not realize that the process works equally well in the reverse direction – that we shall achieve our goal because we have assumed the happy feeling of the wish fulfilled.” – Neville Goddard

Most of us don’t realize that moods work both ways. In today’s episode you’ll find an invitation to again become the observer and see how we often give away our power to what’s going on on the outside. This robs us of the mood we would really prefer to be in, the one which is positive and creative. Rather than allowing our moods to be directed by the ebb and flow of life and outer conditions, circumstances and events; we’ll learn today how to consciously and intentionally choose our mood for the day thereby moving the mood to the “cause” side of the equation.

Mindlessness to Mindfulness

It’s time to slow down and get fully engaged with this present moment. We really have to ask ourselves; are we sleepwalking through life? Most people are moving through life as unconscious competents. We begin our day and we unconsciously set everything on autopilot, we engage the cruise control and stumble mindlessly through the day.

If we engage with any of our thoughts at all, it’s either about re-living some past memory and yesterday’s experience or spending time in a future that doesn’t exist. Looking backwards we often invite depression to come sit with us as we reminisce about days gone by. Ceaselessly engaged with what’s coming, it’s often from a position of worry, doubt, fear and anxiety.

What we have as life’s greatest gift is this eternal moment of now. This is where great things fashion themselves. We must move through are days consciously aware and awake, fully present to every moment.

Dr. Roger Walsh in his book “Essential Spirituality” says, “Mindfulness has five benefits. It enhances our awareness of relationships, the world around us, and the world within us. It also frees us from automaticity and heals the mind.”

The benefits are remarkable! In this episode I go a little deeper into all of this and I share a gentle exercise to help bring you into the present moment.
