Spring Consciousness Cleaning – Pulling Weeds
Spring Consciousness Cleaning – Pulling Weeds and Planting Flowers
As the season shifts and nature awakens, it’s the perfect time to do some spring cleaning—not just in our homes, but in our minds. In this episode, we explore the idea of mental and emotional renewal using the garden as a metaphor. Just as weeds can overtake a garden and choke out healthy plants, limiting beliefs, negative thought patterns, and outdated mental programming can prevent us from growing into our fullest potential.
Together, we’ll identify the “weeds” in our consciousness—the self-doubt, fear, and disempowering narratives that no longer serve us. More importantly, we’ll talk about how to consciously plant “flowers” in their place—new habits of thought, speech, and action that nurture transformation and align with our goals. By intentionally cultivating a mindset that supports success, joy, and abundance, we create fertile ground for personal growth and fulfillment.
Tune in to learn practical strategies for identifying and uprooting mental patterns that hold you back, while sowing the seeds of positivity and empowerment. It’s time for a mental refresh—out with the old, in with the new!

Active Listening – Effective Communication
Are you a ‘Ball Stealer?’ What does that even mean?
With permission, in this episode, I share piece from the folks at Admired Leadership and their Field Notes blog. The piece asks the question, “Are you a despicable listener who steals the ball?” You’ll have to listen to this episode to take a deeper dive into what all this means when it comes to effective communication.
When it comes to personal, professional and leadership development, communication is key. Too many define communication as simply our ability to articulate our thoughts and share them with others without considering listening as a part of the equation.
Listen to this episode and let me know if you see yourself in anything I share.

Thoughts and Circumstances
What were you thinking? What are you thinking right now? If you would take time to step back and examine what has been your dominant and habitual thoughts, it won’t take you long to see how your thoughts have out-pictured as your current experience and circumstance.
When you move about life unconsciously, it doesn’t mean you are not generating thoughts, it means your thoughts are more reactive than creative and therefore just bringing you more of the same old thing. You tend to live life as a series of reactions to what is happening outside of you.
When you make the shift to consciously and deliberately choosing your thoughts and what you’re thinking about, you will see an almost immediate transformation of your circumstances depending on the nature of your new and intentional thoughts.
Persistent thoughts that are in harmony with your vision, your purpose, your mission and your ideal life experience, both personally and professionally, will tend to externalize and become your actuality.
Listen to this episode now as I take you deeper into how your thoughts are shaping your experience as an individual and how group thought influences your culture and results as an organization.
