Entrepreneurship and the Entrepreneurial Spirit

If you would look at the definition of entrepreneur I’m sure you would agree that we are all entrepreneurs when it comes to life and living. Webster’s defines entrepreneur as: one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise. Enterprise is defined as: a project or undertaking that is especially difficult, complicated, or risky.

Certainly life and living encompasses all of the above. However, most of us don’t see our own lives through the lens of an entrepreneur. We assume risks every single day just moving about our world and indeed life can be extremely complicated and confusing at times. Most of us have been brought up with comfort and security as our chief aim in life. And most of us find that comfort and security by giving our life away to building someone else’s dream.

In this episode I share a powerful quote from T. Harv Eker which says:

“Nobody ever died of discomfort, yet living in the name of comfort has killed more ideas, more opportunities, more actions, and more growth than everything else combined. Comfort kills! If your goal in life is to be comfortable, I guarantee two things. First, you will never be rich. Second, you will never be happy. Happiness doesn’t come from living a lukewarm life, always wondering what could have been. Happiness comes as a result of being in our natural state of growth and living up to our fullest potential.”

Maybe it’s time to consider living life on your terms. Perhaps it’s time to step outside your comfort zone so that you may experience all you wish to be, do and have in your lifetime.

Listen in to this episode and consider entrepreneurship as a way of life. Perhaps it’s time to stop giving your life away by trading your precious hours for dollars to help someone else build the life they would love to live.

Perhaps you’re ready for the ‘work anywhere in the world – laptop and phone’ lifestyle.

Perhaps it’s time to make your life about you and really living YOUR dream!

Going Deeper into the Be in Be – Do – Have

In the last episode I brought out the concept of ‘be – do – have’ again and hopefully I brought you some clarity around this. Be – Do – Have is talked about quite a bit in coaching and mentoring circles. Some of the information out there is great but I feel a lot of the information is either incomplete or lacks effective communication that brings the student a solid understanding of this topic.

In this episode I spend more time on the ‘Be’ part of the equation and hopefully I communicate well the critical importance of this step in the process developing your potential. You must get this step right in order to move forward effectively in the direction of your dreams, goals and objectives; your be-coming

Listen in now and go deeper.

Be – Do – Have – Getting Clarity

I’ve noticed that a lot of people talk about the concept of be, do and have but very few seem to understand it. In today’s episode I take a deep dive to help you get some clarity around this concept.

Order is important. You can’t mix these up and expect the same results. You also really have to spend some quality time and in depth time on ‘be.’ I feel the importance of this and the understanding of this is often overlooked so ego takes over.

This is about firmly rooting and grounding yourself in what you already authentically are, bringing it to the surface subjectively, then claiming it and living from it.

It’s so easy to skip over this first step. When you do you risk feeling like a victim, you may become overly judgmental and perhaps even develop so much attachment to a specific outcome that you end up actually pushing it away.

Meditation to Manifestation

“Brain researchers estimate that your unconscious data base outweighs the conscious on an order exceeding ten million to one. This data base is the source of your hidden, natural genius. In other words, a part of you is much smarter than you are. The wise people regularly consult the smarter part.” – Michael J. Gelb / Author of “How to Think Like Leonardo da Vince and Discover Your Genius”

Read on, this is for individuals, entrepreneurs and for those looking to influence culture in the corporate space.

Goals and Dreams – Six Month Check Up

Here we are at the halfway point of the year. This is a great time to take a look at the results that you have created for yourself personally and professionally. If you have been listening to this show for awhile and have applied what I have been sharing, then you most likely set some pretty outrageous dreams and goals for yourself and / or your company.

Are you still on track? Are you happy with where you are now? Or, did you fall back into the same old limiting habits and practices that have always kept you stuck? Celebrate your wins if you have them but don’t beat yourself up if you don’t. Just doing a honest evaluation at this point can be a big win if you take the proper steps to course correct.

Be sure to listen to this entire episode for some simple instructions. Then share your wins or get in touch with me so I can help you uncover those often hidden self-limiting paradigms. Remember, your paradigms are the internal programming that keeps you distanced from the results you truly desire; for yourself personally, within your small business or in your corporate environment.

The time to adjust, make a change, set a new intention and make the commitment to the new vision is now.
