Your S.M.A.R.T. Goals – Smart or Not? – Part Two
There is an abundance of information out there regarding S.M.A.R.T. goals. Content is being churned out by HR departments, universities, and other think tanks and bloggers; some of it good and a lot of it not so good.
For a long time I spoke about how S.M.A.R.T. goals are not always smart and how they have the potential to limit you and give you a false sense of accomplishment. Since my company, LMI-USA actually owns the registered trademark on S.M.A.R.T goals, I thought I would take a deep dive here and explain why this is still true and how you can blend in S.M.A.R.T. goals to help you make quantum leaps in the direction of your big dream goals for yourself personally, professionally, and for your organization.
This episode is part two on this subject and I go deeper into the S.M.A.R.T. format focusing on the ‘specific, measurable, attainable and realistic‘ aspects of your goals. In the next episode I will wrap up this mini- series and discuss the ‘tangible’ element of your S.M.A.R.T. goals.
These episodes clearly define each element within this goal setting process. Learn the most effective and efficient way to apply this process properly and your results will be astonishing.

Harmony Within = Achievement and Success
We’re going through some key points in the Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel. Here’s a take away from today’s episode and a point you should spend some time with this week. Reflect on it, come to know the truth of this. Apply it in your current situation and take action.
“The world without is a reflection of the world within, What appears without is what has been found within. In the world within may be found, infinite Wisdom, infinite Power, infinite Supply of all that is necessary, waiting for unfoldment, development and expression. If we recognize these potentialities in the world within they will take form in the world without.”
Your seat of power, the power to transform your life, your business and even your company, resides within you. Your mind is your greatest asset and the thoughts you think are either the genesis fo what you want to move into your life or the reason that you habitually experience negative conditions, situations, circumstances and events.
In today’s episode I continue to explore the foundation of personal and professional transformation and the proper way to establish it. Just a hint; it doesn’t come from a focus on the results you want to change, it doesn’t come from wallowing around in the puddle of what you don’t want either, yet so many people, even leaders, do just that.
Begin to establish order and harmony within your own consciousness and you will experience successful outcomes in the world around you.

Developing Desire and Passion – Step 3
Learning how to develop desire and passion, in yourself and others, is a unique leadership skill that is essential for your desired growth.
Desire and passion are necessary elements in the pursuit of worthy ideals especially when it comes to making those quantum leaps in the direction of all you desire to experience personally and professionally.
In the book “The 5 Pillars of Leadership; How to Bridge the Leadership Gap” by Paul J. Meyer, founder of Leadership Management International and Rand Slechta, LMI’s current CEO, we find this insight:
“The desire and passion with which you and your team members face a challenge is an essential part of the soul of your organization. Without it, you and your team lack spiritual guidance and creative expression. Without desire and passion, there is no intuition; missing is the still small voice within you to provide insight into both situations and people. Without desire and passion, all of your talents and abilities tend to lie fallow and unresponsive; your potential is hidden, buried and dormant.”
In the last episode I explored step two, this episode focuses on step three. I suggest going back and listening to the last few episodes. I will discuss step four in the next episode and then wrap up this series with step five in the episode after that.
Join me as I take a deep dive into all five steps to developing desire and passion as shared by these two brilliant authors in this spectacular book. I highly recommend you get your own copy.
Set the intention now to no longer allow your infinite potential to remain hidden, buried and dormant. Commit to not only listening to this podcast but also applying the wisdom shared to your unique situation and taking action based on what you take away from these episodes.

The Law of Assumption – Quantum Impact
In this episode I take a deep dive into the law of assumption. Consciously assuming the state of your desires and objectives, already made manifest, in thought, word and action; is the most powerful thing you can do to make a quantum leap into the realization of those desires and objectives.
To make a quantum impact right now today, make this move. Move into ‘being’ that which you desire to experience. This is the way to accelerate your progress personally and professionally. This is for individuals and small businesses and ESPECIALLY for those of you in a corporate environment, looking to have a major impact on your culture, human behavior, performance and productivity along with the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.
Remember, we live in a cause and effect universe. To experience transformation and make quantum leaps toward your goals, you have to impact cause. Influencing cause to produce a desired effect has to come from within consciousness it won’t happen from outside the individual(s), through events or natural evolution.
When you make this move and take action, you will be astonished at the reaction you receive from the world around you in the form of conditions, events, circumstances, people and other resources that quickly move in, to support you on your way.
Listen now. You’ll be glad you did.
